Our community calendar respects the Bajan year — Errol Barrow Day (Jan 21), Heroes Day (Apr 28), Emancipation Day (Aug 1), Independence Day (Nov 30), and the Crop Over Festival running June through Grand Kadooment Day on the first Monday in August. Hackathons, meetups, and the AI Barbados Summit all sit alongside the cricket season at Kensington Oval and the calypso, soca, and tuk band of Crop Over.
